There are 2 different models for Cisco 1532 серії

The Cisco Aironet 1532I Outdoor Access Point is a low-profile, lightweight model. The smaller size and sleeker look help it blend in with the surrounding environment. The Cisco Aironet 1532I access points are dual-radio systems with internal antennas and comply with IEEE 802.11b/g/n (2.4 ГГц) and 802.11a/n (5 ГГц) стандарти. The 2.4-GHz radio is a 3×3 multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) radio。

The Cisco Aironet 1532E Outdoor Access Point is also a low-profile and lightweight model, but it supports a flexible radio coverage area through the use of external antennas. With the unique Cisco Flexible Antenna Port technology, the antenna ports can be software configured for dual-band or single-band operation.

The Cisco Aironet 1530 Series Access Point can connect to the network wirelessly or through a wired Ethernet connection.

Wireless: An access point that connects to the network through another access point via a wireless backhaul is called a mesh access point (MAP). Built-in backhaul radio, MAP does not require a wired connection. An access point that acts as a gateway to a mesh node is called a Root Access Point (RAP). RAP is connected to the network via a wired Ethernet connection. In these cases, the liquid-tight adapter is provided with an access point to seal the cable entry.

Ethernet: The Cisco Aironet 1530 Series supports 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet with shielded RJ-45 connectors and a minimum of Category 5 cable. For local rated cables and shielded connectors, please consult your local supplier.

The following items are included with every model:

  • Access point
  • Grounding Lug
  • DC power connector
  • One liquid-tight adapter for sealing the cable ingress connection
  • Sealant for the antenna connections
  • Anti-seizing compound for the mounting brackets

Additional cable glands and other spare items are available in an accessory kit (Таблиця 10). This kit contains the following items:

● 1 console port cover

● 2 Ethernet and power port covers

● 1 DC power connector

Flexible port deployment

Unique Cisco Flexible Antenna Port technology is a Cisco engineering innovation. It allows the same antenna ports to be used either for dual-band antennas to reduce footprint, or for single-band antennas to optimize radio coverage.

BandSelect

Band selection enables client radios that are capable of dual-band (2.4 і 5 ГГц) operation to automatically move to a less congested 5 GHz access point.

VideoStream

The VideoStream feature provides high-quality video performance over Wi-Fi. It converts the multicast frame to a unicast frame over the air.

Multiple operational modes

This series gives you a choice of an access point, mesh, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint bridge, and workgroup bridge (WGB) deployments. The internal and external antenna versions both have full lines of supported Omni and directional antennas.
