Huawei SSN1BA2(17/17,ลค) Board is a 2-channel optical power amplifier board, which completes the optical signal amplification function and is suitable for long-distance optical fiber transmission. When the optical signal is transmitted over a long distance, the signal attenuation is high. In order to make the optical receiver receive the normal optical signal, an optical power amplifier (BA) is required.

โอเอสเอ็น 1500B: the SSN1BA2(17,ลค) can be installed in slots 11–13.

OSN 2500: the SSN1BA2(17,ลค) can be installed in slots IU2, IU4, IU6, IU8, IU10, IU12.

OSN 3500: When the cross-connect boards are IXCS and SXCA: the SSN1BA2(17,ลค))can be installed in slots 1–8 and 11–17.

OSN 7500: The BA2 can be installed in slots 1–8, 11–18, and 26–31.

• Huawei BA2 single board is an optical power amplifier board, which can amplify the power of 2 optical signals and increase the transmit optical power of the circuit board to +13dBm ~ +15dBm or +15dBm ~ +18dBm, so that the transmission distance can reach 120km or more than 130km (G.652 fiber, loss is calculated as 0.275dB/km).
• Support EDFA
• Support the automatic control of the laser temperature of the EDFA (Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier) module and the automatic control of the optical power; support the automatic monitoring of the input and output optical power of the EDFA module and the optical power query;
• Support the protection function of EDFA module. When there is no input light, the laser is automatically turned off, and when the input light is restored, the laser is automatically turned on.
