Huawei S5731-S48T4X Switch Product Overview
Huawei S5731-S48T4X Switch is Gigabit access switch providing all-GE electrical ports. It provides a range of standard gigabit access with all-GE electrical/optical ports and fixed 10 GE uplink ports. Based on Huawei’s unified Versatile Routing Platform (VRP), the switch offers enhanced Layer 3 features, simplified Operations & Underhåll (O&M), Intelligent Stack (iStack) teknologi. This allows multiple stacking-capable switches to function as a single logical switch. Dessutom, S5731-S48T4X supports Super Virtual Fabric (SVF), which virtualizes the “Core/aggregation + Access switch + AP” structure into a logical device. CloudEngine S5731S supports service configuration templates. The templates are configured on core devices and automatically delivered to access devices, enabling centralized control, simplified service configuration, and flexible configuration modification. The CloudEngine S5731-S functions as a client in an SVF system.

- VXLAN-capable and allow centralized and distributed VXLAN gateway deployment modes. These switches also support the BGP EVPN protocol for dynamically establishing VXLAN tunnels and can be configured using NETCONF/YANG.
