Huawei CFP 100G 40Km 1310nm SM can support link lengths up to 40 kilometres on standard duplex single-mode fibre (SMF, G.652) terminated with LC/PC optical connectors. 100 Gigabit Ethernet-signal överförs över fyra våglängder. Multiplexering och demultiplexering av de fyra våglängderna hanteras inom enheten. Huawei CFP 100G 40Km 1310nm SM meets the IEEE 802.3ba requirements for 100GBASE-ER4 performance and also supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) of the transmit-and-receive optical signal levels.
