GYFTZA53-14~18Xn Optic Cable is Loose sleeve stranded non-metallic reinforced core armored flame retardant optical cable, suitable for severe environments such as underground and direct burial
GYFTZA53-14~18Xn Optic Cable Product Overview
GYFTZA53 fiber optic cables are constructed by inserting a 250μm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high-modulus material filled with a waterproof compound. In the center of the core is a non-metallic reinforcing core (Frp), and for some core counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is squeezed on top of the non-metallic reinforcing core. The loose tube and infill rope are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round core, and the gaps within the core are filled with water-blocking filling. The plastic-coated aluminum strip (APL) is squeezed with a layer of polyethylene inner sheath after longitudinal wrapping, and the flame-retardant outer sheath is extruded after the double-sided plastic-coated steel strip (Psp) is longitudinally wrapped into a cable.
With non-metallic reinforcing core, double-layer armored flame retardant sheath and full-section water-blocking design, it is suitable for severe environments such as underground burial and direct burial.

• Very good mechanical properties, temperature characteristics and flame retardant properties
• The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength
• The tube is filled with a special paste to protect the optical fiber
• Good compression resistance and softness
• The following measures are taken to ensure the waterproof performance of the cable:
– Single non-metallic center reinforcing core
– The loose tube is filled with a special waterproofing compound
– Full core filling
– Plastic-coated aluminium tape (APL) moisture barrier
– Double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (Psp) improves the moisture permeability of fiber optic cables
– Good water-blocking material prevents longitudinal water seepage of the fiber optic cable
