OptiX PTN960is a new generation of mobile access transmission equipment for packet transmission from Huawei. This device can be placed on the base station side for base station service access, or it can be placed on the IRPAN convergence layer as a service aggregation device. The integrated services are transmitted to higher-level equipment after integration.
Huawei OptiX PTN960 Product Overview
Huawei OptiX PTN960 can use DC power to connect to the single board PIU to achieve DC-48V power supply or use EPS30-4815AF / ETP4830-4815AF external AC power system to achieve a 220V AC power supply. Both DC and AC power supply support 1 + 1 power input hot backup.
Habka rakibida: ETSI 300mm deep cabinet, ETSI 600mm deep cabinet. It can be installed in a 19-inch cabinet, which usually can meet the needs of most users. The specific model and size need to be adjusted according to the actual requirements of the user’s computer room environment.
The DC box is used in conjunction with the DC power access board PIU. The -48V DC power supply can be used to power the PIU board, or the EPS30-4815AF external AC power system is connected to 220V AC power and converted to DC power for the PIU board. The AC box is used in conjunction with the ACU access board APIU and supports the AC 220V power supply. Both DC and AC power supply support 1 + 1 hot backup.

- Huawei OptiX PTN960 has perfect QoS (Tayada Adeegga) capabilities and has achieved standard BE, AF1, AF2, AF3, AF4, EF, CS6, CS7 eight PHBs (Per-hop Behavior), enabling network operators to provide users with Service guarantee with different quality of service levels to achieve a comprehensive network that carries data, voice and video services simultaneously.
- Huawei OptiX PTN960 supports in-band DCN (Data Communication Network, which is a part of network management and is used to transmit network management information). There is no need to establish a dedicated DCN channel to ensure the communication of network management information, which greatly saves the cost of building the network.
- Huawei OptiX PTN960 supports the physical layer clock synchronization mechanism, IEEE 1588 V2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) iyo 1588 ACR (Adaptive Clock Recover) clock synchronization mechanism. Provide high-precision time and clock information for mobile communication services.
- Huawei OptiX PTN960 supports the NSF function during the soft reset of the main control, beddelashada, and clock board. That is, when the control plane of the device fails, data forwarding is still performed normally to protect services on the network. Supports MPLS OAM, realizes rapid fault detection, can quickly trigger protection switching when a fault occurs and guarantees the carrier-class quality of service in a packet-switched network.
