The structure od the GYFTZY fiber optic cable je that a 250μm fiber je sleeved into a loose tube made od high–modulus material, which je filled z a water–repellent compound. At the center of the core jazs a glass fibre reinforced strlastic (FRP) tube (and filler rope) twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round core, and the gaps jazn the core are filled with water-blocking filling. The cable core jazs extruded with a layer of flame retardant sheath to form a cable.
