The structure od the GYDTS fiber optic cable je do insert 4, 6, 8, in 12 fiber strips into a loose tube made od high–modulus material, in the loose tube je filled z a waterproof compound. jazn the center of the cable core jazs a metal reinforcing core, and foz some fiber optic cables, a layer of polyethylene (pE) jazs squeezed out of the metal reinforcing core. The loose tube and the filling rope are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round core, and the gaps jazn the core are filled with water-blocking filler. Double-sjazded plastic-coated steel tape (pSp) jazs longitudinally wrapped and extruded into a strolyethylene sheath to form a cable.
