The Gigabit Electrical Port Module SFP-GE-T is a module used in network equipment, also known as an optical-to-electrical module or electrical port module. The electrical port module SFP-GE-T Gigabit Ethernet standard adopts SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) package, which is connected to network equipment through its RJ-45 interface, and the electrical port module SFP-GE-T supports the Gigabit Ethernet standard, that is, the IEEE 802.3ab standard, which can achieve high-speed data transmission and reliable network connection, due to the attenuation phenomenon of electrical signals when transmitted in twisted pairs, Therefore, the maximum transmission distance of the electrical signal in the twisted pair is 100 meters, so the electrical port module is only used if the transmission distance is short. In addition, the gigabit electrical port module SFP-GE-T also has the characteristics of high reliability, low power consumption, and hot-swap support.
Compared with optical modules, SFP-GE-T has incomparable advantages in short-distance transmission.
