S1720 series web-managed and fully-managed switches provide telemetry technology to collect device data in real time and send the data to Huawei campus network analyzer CampusInsight. The CampusInsight analyzes network data based on the intelligent fault identification algorithm, accurately displays the real-time network status, effectively locates faults in a timely manner, and identifies network problems that affect user experience, accurately guaranteeing user experience.

- S1720 series web-managed and fully-managed switches support enhanced Media Delivery Index (eMDI). The S1720 functions as a monitoring node to periodically collect and report eMDI fault data to eSight, and then eSight quickly locates video service quality faults based on monitoring results of multiple nodes.
