Description
Cisco UCS C220 M5 Rack Server is the industry’s most versatile general-purpose enterprise infrastructure and application server. This high-density, two-socket rack server delivers industry-leading performance and efficiency for a wide range of enterprise workloads, including virtualization, collaboration, and bare-metal applications.
The Cisco UCS C-Series Rack Server can be deployed as a standalone server or integrated into the Cisco Unified Computing SystemTM (Cisco UCS). With integrated deployments, these servers leverage Cisco’s standards-based unified computing innovations to help customers lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and increase business agility.
Cisco UCS C220 M5 Rack Server General Introduction
The Cisco UCS C220 M5 server extends the capabilities of the Cisco UCS portfolio with a single-rack-unit (1RU) form factor. It features an Intel® Xeon® scalable processor that supports up to 20% more cores per socket, twice the memory capacity, and 20% more storage density than previous generations. PCIe NVMe Solid State Disk (SSD) increased by a factor of five. These improvements have greatly improved the performance and efficiency of the product and helped to improve application performance. The C220 M5 offers exceptional scalability and performance in a compact package.
