Description
ADSS Cable is all Dielectric Self-supporting Aerial Cable complying with Standard IEEE P 1222 as well as IEC 60794-1.
ADSS Cable Product Overview
All Dielectric Self Supporting optical cables, due to its unique structure, good insulation and high temperature resistance, as well as high tensile strength and many other advantages, provides fast and economical transmission channels for power communication systems. In general, ADSS fiber optic cables are cheaper than OPtical fiber composite ground wh (OPGW) in many applications, and it is easier to install. It is advisable to erect ADSS cables using power lines or nearby towers, and in some places ADSS cables are even necessary. The main uses of ADSS fiber optic cables are:
1) Using it as the introduction and exit optical cable of OPGW system relay station, based on its safety attributes, when introducing and exiting relay stations, it can well solve the problem of power isolation.
2) Use it as a transmission cable for optical fiber communication systems in high-voltage (110kV-220kV) power grid. In particular, many places have made it convenient to use when retrofitting old communication lines.
3) It is used for optical fiber communication system in 6kV~35kV~180kV distribution network.
