Huawei NE20E-S8A Router Product Overview
Huawei NE20E-S8A Router uses the latest VRP8.0 platform, which is the same platform as Huawei NE5000E. VRP operating system adopts RDF (Resilient Distributed Framework) elastic distributed architecture. Through relatively separated management plane, business plane, data plane and control plane, it greatly improves the flexibility, betrouwbaarheid, manageability and expansion of the entire system.
The Huawei VRP platform is mature and stable. Currently, more than 4 million units are running on the existing network. Its functional richness and stability have been sharpened by large-scale practical applications, and it has rich business features and functions.

It can deploy L2VPN, L3VPN, MVPN at the same time according to networking requirements, support simultaneous deployment with TE (Verkeerstechniek), support flexible QinQ, support DHCP, and can also provide Netstream and other functions to adapt to traditional Access requirements and emerging service requirements meet the rich bearer requirements for multi-service convergence.
- Huawei NE20E-S8A Router has powerful scalable multicast capabilities and supports rich IPv4 / IPv6 multicast protocols, including PIM-SM / SSM, MLDv1 / v2, IGMPv3, and IGMP Snooping. It can flexibly carry video services such as IPTV and can meet Demands for multicast services of all sizes.
