Digital relay is a data transmission network that uses digital channels to transmit data signals. Its main role is to provide users with a permanent and semi-permanent connection of digital data transmission channels, which can be used not only for communication between computers but also for the transmission of digitized faxes, digitale stem, digital image signals or other digitized signals.
Digital trunk is divided into PRI (30B + D, 2B + D), E1, T1, ISDN.
E1 heeft drie methoden: omlijsting, Framing en Unframing.
