Huawei NE20E-S8A Router uses the latest VRP8.0 platform, iaitu platform yang sama dengan Huawei NE5000E. Sistem pengendalian VRP menggunakan RDF (Rangka Kerja Teragih Berdaya tahan) seni bina teragih anjal. Melalui pesawat pengurusan yang agak terpisah, pesawat perniagaan, satah data dan satah kawalan, ia sangat meningkatkan fleksibiliti, kebolehpercayaan, kebolehurusan dan pengembangan keseluruhan sistem.
