Huawei NE 20E-S2F Router uses the latest VRP8.0 platform, iaitu platform yang sama dengan Huawei NE5000E. Sistem pengendalian VRP menggunakan RDF (Rangka Kerja Teragih Berdaya tahan) seni bina teragih anjal. Huawei NE 20E-S2F Router adopts a distributed processing architecture. The main control, bertukar, and forwarding are physically separated. The control plane and the service plane are separated to ensure that services and controls do not interfere with each other. Service switching is not affected during active / standby switching.

Huawei NE 20E-S2F Router provides IP / LDP / VPN / TE fast rerouting, Hot-Standby, IGP, BGP, and multicast routing fast convergence, Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), TRUNK link Shared backup, 3.3ms fast detection of hardware BFD links, and MPLS / Ethernet OAM to ensure the stability of the entire network. It can provide end-to-end 200ms protection switching without service interruption.
- Reliable service level
