Huawei SmartAX EA5801 GP04 is a compact and low-density box-shaped OLT. This model offers GPON or XG-PON&GPON combo access and supports passive optical LAN (POL) and fibre to the home (FTTH) solutions.

Huawei SmartAX EA5801 GP04 is a small volume, low-density box OLT and provides GPON or XG-PON combo access. Huawei SmartAX EA5801 GP04 supports POL and FTTH network construction mode with broadband, voice, video, monitoring and other services. Therefore simplifying Network Architecture and Reduce OPEX Huawei SmartAX EA5801 GP04 has built-in main control business module and is equipped with one pluggable fan module and one to two pluggable AC or DC power modules.
EA5801 series has three models: EA5801-GP08 , EA5801-CG04 and EA5801E-GP16
