Huawei OceanStor 5310 adopts Huawei proprietary algorithms to efficiently deploy data across different media, using Solid-State Disks (SSDs) to accelerate mission-critical data. Comprehensive convergence and value-added features also deliver system efficiency and reliability, while built-in insight modules provide intelligent prediction capabilities.

OceanStor hybrid flash memory is the first to support the end-to-end NVMe architecture, using the industry-leading 32Gbps FC-NVMe/25Gbps RoCE protocol on the front-end and 100Gbps RDMA protocol on the back-end to achieve end-to-end data acceleration and fully unleash performance.

The industry’s only NAS A-A active-active solution ensures efficient and reliable NAS performance. The industry’s only NAS multi-path, which provides multi-link handover of NAS front-end faults to ensure high reliability of file scenarios. In addition, the active-active solution can be smoothly upgraded to data protection solutions such as two cities and three centers, ring 3DC, etc., to provide a higher level of data protection.

Based on HyperMetro’s leading gateway-free A-A active-active solution, Huawei OceanStor hybrid flash storage builds a dual-active-active + asynchronous replication + active-active network of two cities and four data centers, which can tolerate the failure of two data centers in the same city, the reliability of the remote active-active disaster recovery center will not be degraded, and the three data centers in two cities will fail, and services will continue to be online. In addition, Huawei’s OceanStor hybrid flash storage is based on the linkage SOCC solution between storage and WDM devices, which effectively alleviates sub-health problems such as active-active/replication link jitter and packet loss, and reduces the link sub-health scenario switching time to 2 seconds, helping users reduce the impact of sub-health.
