Huawei CFP 100G 40Km 1310nm SM can support link lengths up to 40 kilometres on standard duplex single-mode fibre (SMF, G.652) terminated with LC/PC optical connectors. 100 Gigabit Ethernet signāls tiek pārraidīts četros viļņu garumos. Ierīcē tiek pārvaldīta četru viļņu garumu multipleksēšana un demultipleksēšana. Huawei CFP 100G 40Km 1310nm SM meets the IEEE 802.3ba requirements for 100GBASE-ER4 performance and also supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) of the transmit-and-receive optical signal levels.
