Huawei NE40E-X8A Router is based on a unified software and hardware platform, which can meet the deployment requirements of different scenarios and help customers simplify the metro network hierarchy. The all-in-one platform is intelligent on-demand and can support rapid service issuance.

Huawei NE40E-X8A Router provides redundancy backup for key components. These key components support hot-swap and hot backup. The NE40E also uses technologies, such as Non-Stop Routing (NSR), Inoltro continuo (NSF), and In-Service Software Upgrade (ISSU), to ensure uninterrupted service forwarding.
