The cable can be paired with four 10G SR multimode modules for 40G to 4-channel 10G Ethernet branch links in data centers, with a transmission distance of 1-100m, which is very suitable for the connection of cabinets or two adjacent cabinets.
QSFP to four SFP+ active optical breakout cables are suitable for very short distances and offer a flexible way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks.
