Huawei CE12808S Switch is the new Generation high-performance core switches for data centres and high-end campuses. The software platform is based on Huawei’s new generation of VRP8 operating system.

Huawei CE12808S Switch Product Overview
Huawei CE12808S Switch adopts advanced hardware architecture design. The whole machine supports 367/1032Tbps switching capacity and supports up to 576 dispositifs. 100GE, 576 40GE, 2304 25GE ou 2304 10GE full line speed interfaces. Huawei CloudEngine 12808S Switch features an industry-leading Clos switch fabric and industrial-grade reliability, as well as a rigorous front and rear duct design. It also supports comprehensive virtualization capabilities and rich data center features. En outre, Huawei CloudEngine 12808S Switch is adopted as a next-generation core switch. A variety of green energy-saving innovative technologies have been used to significantly reduce equipment energy consumption.

Huawei CE12808S Switch Product Features
- High device virtualization capability: Le moteur cloud 12800 uses Virtual System (CONTRE) technology to provide an industry leading virtualization capability that enables one switch to be virtuali zed into as many as 16 logical switches. Ce 1:16 ratio enables one core switch to manage services for an enterprise’s multiple service areas such as production, office, and DMZ, or for multiple tenants.
- Higher security and reliability: VS technology divi des a network into separate logical areas for service isolation. The failure of one virtual switch does not affect other virtual switches, enhancing network security.
- Lower CAPEX: VS technology improves the use efficiency of physical devices by implementin g on demand resource allocation. This ensures network scalability and reduces investment in devices.
