Huawei CE12800 adopts a new generation of large cache line card design. All service interfaces (100GE/40GE/10GE) support 100ms large cache capacity, support ingress distributed cache technology, and better absorb data center surge traffic. While providing high-performance forwarding, it ensures effective absorption of burst traffic and meets the requirements of the new traffic model.
CE12800 provides GE, 10GE, 40GE, and 100GE line cards with various port densities, which can support large-capacity high-density server access and TOR uplink aggregation. Since the mainstream TOR access switches in the industry have been generally upgraded to 10GE access and 40GE/100GE uplink, the core switches need to provide high-density 40GE/100GE aggregation capabilities when used with TOR. CE12800 provides high-density 40GE/100GE line cards to help users build high-performance data center networks.

- Six CE-SFU04G-G switching network boards form the switching core of the data plane, providing high-speed Serdes data channels for the LPU.
- The equipment adopts a single-level multi-plane switching network to expand the switching capacity, and a 5+1 switching plane is designed. Load sharing and redundant backup are adopted between the planes to ensure that business data will not be interrupted.
