200G QSFP56 SR4 is designed for use in 200 Gigabit Ethernet links on up to 100m of Multimode fiber and RoHS compliant.

200G QSFP56 SR4 Product Overview

The module is designed to support 200G Ethernet, suitable for data center links up to 100m over multi-mode fiber with FEC. The module is compatible with IEEE 802.3cd 200GBASE-SR4. With a built-in 200G PAM4 DSP, it supports four electrical interface lanes which operate in 50G PAM4 encoding mode resulting in 200G (4x50G) data rate. The 200GBASE-SR4 QSFP56 modules are used to connect multiple 200G signals from the server side (Cartes réseau) to the data center aggregation switch.

The QSFP-DD (Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Double-density) optical transceiver is compliant with IEEE802.3bs and QSFP-DD MSA standards. “Double-density” means that the module supports double the number of high-speed electrical interfaces compared to the standard QSFP28 module. With NRZ modulation technology, data rates of up to 25G x 8(chaînes) can be achieved for 200G network transmission. Entre-temps, with PAM4 modulation technology, data rates can reach 50G x 4(chaînes), enabling 400G network transmission for high-performance computing data centers and cloud networks. QSFP-DD modules can support 400Gbps, while QSFP56 can only reach 200Gbps, so the QSFP56 package form is more commonly used in 200G optical modules.
