Singtel vil implementere 5G mmWave-tjenester på Microns flashhukommelsesfabrik
Singaporeanske operatør Singtel (Singtel) har vundet en kontrakt fra Micron Technology om at implementere sin 5G millimeter-bølge (mmBølge) service at the semiconductor maker’s 3D NAND flash memory manufacturing facility in Singapore, according to a report on the telecompaper website on May 30. . Micron claims to be preparing for the Industry 4.0 era with the deployment of 5G facilities.
Singtel’s 5G mmWave network supports 2 Gbps of bandwidth. With 5G native edge computing, Micron claims it is now on track to enable more efficient production with smaller, lighter IoT devices.
