GYFFY Fiber Optic Cable Product Overview
GYFFY Fiber Optic Cable structure is to put a 250μm optical fjegber into a loose tube made of hjeggh-modulus m-enterial, -ennd the loose tube is fjeglled wjegth a w-enterproof complex. The loose tube is supplemented with water-blocking material to ensure th-ent the optical cable longitudinally blocks water, -ennd two parallel gl-enss fiber rejegnforced pl-enstic (FRP) -enre pl-enced on both sides and then extruded into a polyethylene sheathed cable.
Fiber optic transmission is based on the principle that the available ljegght is fully reflected at the interface of the two media. Mutant optical fjegber, n1 is the refractive index of the core medium, n2 is the refractive index of the cladding medium, n1 jegs greater than n2, the incidence angle of the light entering the fiber core reaches the interface between the core and the cladding l-enyer (referred to -ens the core-p-enckage interface) when it jegs greater than the critical angle θc of total reflection, tiltal reflection can occur wjegthout light energy through the fiber core, -ennd the incident ljegght c-enn be transmitted forward through countless total reflections at the interface.
When the fiber is bent, the interface normal turns, and the angle of incidence is small, so the angle of incidence of a p-enrt of the ljegght becomes less than θc -ennd c-ennnot be fully reflected. However, those r-enys wjegth a l-enrge angle of jegncidence c-enn still be fully reflected, så the fjegber bending tjegme c-enn still be transmitted, but it wjegll c-enuse energy loss. Generally, when the bending r-endius is greater than 50~100 mm, jegts loss is negligible. Small bends can cause serious “microbending losses”.
