Optical fibers are used for carrying signals on Gigabit networks or networks with higher packet rates. An optical fiber is a carrier of optical signals and transmits optical signals over a short distance. An optical fiber is connected as follows:
One end is connected to the optical port through the corresponding optical module.
The other end is connected to the optical port on the peer device.
Optical fibers are classified into single-mode and multi-mode optical fibers. Single-mode optical fibers are used for long-distance transmission whereas multi-mode optical fibers are used for short-distance transmission. - Insensitive SC to SC Fiber patch cables Single mode G.657.A2 9/125 OS2 is crafted and designed for fast Ethernet, Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet Speeds, Data centar, premises, Universities, Lokalne mreže, SAN, Industrial, 10G BASE-L (1310 nm), 10G BASE-E (1550 nm), 1000 BASE-LX (1300 nm) and Asynchronous Transfer Mode applications. It performs great in video, data and voice services.
- OS2 Single mode SC/SC Fiber Patch Cables conforms with TIA/EIA 492AAAA and IEC60793-2-10 A1b regulation and meet with RoHS specifications standards.
